Echa Paká is formed in Barcelona the summer of 2004 by Cuban and Catalan musicians. They perform in small venues and restaurants until they record ten songs at s(on)s studios and the mastering takes place in april of 2006 at Ferran Conangle’s Metronom Studio.

The band keeps playing in Catalonia until they get to play every month (and sometimes every week) at the Harlem Jazz Club, it has been more than two years as a resident band. From this moment on the band keeps touring all over Spain (specially last summer) and they have filmed a concert in Barcelona, their first DVD live. They are about to return to the studio to record new songs. They have a powerful live show alternating the Cuban classics with their own songs. Everybody enjoys their mixture of son cubano, rumba, cha cha cha, guajira, bachata, bolero and sucu-sucu, ... Wherever they go, 100% dancing fun guaranteed. .
